Allright its my Mustang. I come into the parking lot at work and the alarm on my amp and my cap start going off I check the voltage 9 volts. I revved the motor and it does nothing the alternator was dead. I replaced it with one earlier it did nothing. I went and got a brand new alternator had them test it in the store bolted it on. It does nothing no charge. The amps idiot light is on but it has been on since I bought the car. Now the volt meter does nothing just sits there. The cap is doing nothing showing 12.0 volts solid.

What the hell is going on with this shit!!! Have you guys ever run into this issue???

Make sure the wires are all good ford had a recall on the wires that plug into the alt. Usually when you buy a remain. alt it will come with the wires to slice in. Also get a multi meter and check the voltage right at the alt.

Checked the harness it was fine. The plug end turned to liquid goo. Thanks
