So I guess that some cop felt that my very slighty tinted taillights were hazardous to society so i got pulled over and got a fix it ticket :wacko its stupid, as i was being repremanded, a guy in a new import went speeding by with blacked out taillights and limo tint :banghead so i minding my own business am in need of a set of taillights for my 94 bronco, and i was wondering if anyone in socal near newport beach had a set that they werent using so that i could borrow them just to get the ticket signed off and i would return them to you and buy you a sixpack of your favorite brew even though i may not legally purchase it or condone it, if you would help me out that would be awesome :drinkbud

when are you going to get the ticket signed off?...if so my taillights are off a newer model bko...and its not going anywhere at the moment.
I think they should make those illegal. Same with those covers that have all the cut-out holes in them.

I know they look cool, but in the day light they are very hard to see

I'm with you Mike (and clear tail light lenses too)

right after ricers are declared illegal.

BigBlack

You don't need Bronco lenses

Siddle up next to the nearest F-150, drop his tailgate, look both ways and using your philips "convert him" to tinted. He'd probably thank you for it, but don't wait around for the pat of the back;)

Sixlitre
its a very light tint, ive never had anyone say anything and ive been behind it driving and didnt really have any problem. and the clear ones are even easier to see than regular because it has a less obtrusive color in the way, but anywho, id like to keep the tinted ones and not have to buy a new set even though they probably dont cost much
The Euro taillights are usually cheaper to buy then the OEM style. Lower quality, hah!
u can pick some up at O'rileys auto for about $25 each
Wha Wha Wha. If it was legal, you wouldnt have gotten a ticket.
MY OEM replacements wrre 30 a peice from LMC
Wha Wha Wha, I bought it like that. Sorry if i feel that worse things than tinted tail lights are happening. Some guy did 110 in a 35 2 weeks ago and BLEW right past a cop, and didn't get pulled over, but you know, its legal and all

I have a real hard time believing that. I'm sure if a cop was siting there giving you a fix-it ticket and anyone drove by doing 110 MPH he would have definantley left you behind to chase him without a second thought.
And even if what you said is true, your statement is just like the people that get pulled over for speeding or whatever and they tell the cop "You need to get out there and catch all the bank robbers and murders instead of harassing people for speeding."

If you got a ticket for it once, I would just put the stock lights back on and make it legal. Because you know if the cop sees you again with the tinted lights your gonna get a ticket again, but not the Fix-it ticket, probably be the moving violation where you get fined
take um off the other bko in your sig, it looks like it has oem ones on
dave
The ticket wasn't being written while the guy did this. Let me clarify, and its a pretty reputable source. My friend's gf just cheated on him and hes got a pretty f'ed life and an even more f'ed way of dealing with his problems, he decided that speeding was a good one. I was about 50ft behind a cop when he went blazing past at what he said was 110MPH, give or take a few.

But the whole problem is that I don't have the stock lights and I will end up paying 50+$ for it regardless. I'm in highschool and I play lacrosse full time and don't really have much time to make money, sorry if i'm coming off as some young law breaking punk, but from my shoes it doesn't look like a bad thing in grand scheme of things.
shit you can afford that nice truck in HS without working:bs
It cost 5,250$ I spent my whole summer working and made 4,000 of that, my mom covered the rest, sorry if I mislead you :doh0715:

the other bko in the sig isnt mine, I liked it as a different aspect of offroading in a bko

I never really asked to be flamed or anything, I simply asked a favor, and even offered a 6 pack of your favorite brew for the trouble, not that unreasonable in my book. :whiteflag from hence forth i'll just not ask

ignore the flamers...lot guys here would do anything to help ya out...but gotta give you a hard time about it...:histerica
instead of pointing your finger at others to try and justify your wrong doings, just STFU and follow the rules. man i hate when people get caught doing something wrong and try to get out of it by finding another person doing something worse.

edit- i know, i know, you are just asking a favor. still, pointing out the speeding ricer isn't going to un-tint your lights. i would take the sixlitre approach.
or do what i did- and make friends with the cops in your area...
ace
sorry bout that, see if your folks will help you out, or try six's aproach
