you need to get a rod or cut the head off a stock long body bolt and a big hammer. you need to pound real hard and they will com apert....or you can burn out the rubber bushing and saws all thru the connection of the sleave. i even cut the bottom nuts off the bottom shell and installed new nuts (much easier) they are a pain to get apart. http://www.supermotors.org/vehicles/registry/detail.php?id=6364&s=26101#content
