So i just got the trans in and i want the replace the converter nuts but when i checked i couldnt find any where i work and i would have to wait 1 week
i found the closes thing which is 3/8-24 and im not sure if i should use a Flange nut from what it came from or can i just use a nut and washer?

Yep, need the flanged mechanical lock nuts. They should have at least one triangle stamped in the face of the nut designating a mechanical locking nut. The threads are imperfect to create the lock.

Thanks guys!!!! i decided to do that, i stopped by my local transmission suplier shop, got the correct nuts !
