help with my parking lamps?

ok, so my parking lights stay on when i cut the headlights off but if i disconect the switch they still wont go off the only way to cut them off is to disconect the battery or take the relay out but ive replaced the relay already and still no luck


any ideas im stuck...

I think I know what you're having there, but what relay did you R&R?
The HD LT CKT does not use a relay.

Wiring Diagram & Testing in 92-96; "...The only significant difference between '92-96 and '80-91 is that the MFS's DIMMER switch replaced the older beam select switch, but they perform the same function..."

I forgot to add this too:
If you have a problem when turning on one circuit it causes another to come on partially (dim lights, etc.), check the ground for the part or system that was turned on first.
i.e., if you press the brake pedal, & the parking lights turn on partially or fully, check the brake lights' ground
.
This is caused by current going thru da brake light bulb filaments & finding a ground in the parking lt. system instead of its own ground
