My bronco will not go into 4x4. I thought it my be my transfer case shift motor, but I changed it and it still is out. It has since gotten a vibration that feels like it is coming directly under my driver's floorboard. A mechanical told me to take the front driveshaft off and try that. It's still there. He then suggested the transfer case itself. I don't know. I am new to working on my own vehicle and am trying to save money by fixing it myself...ANY HELP? I also changed my transfer case computer under my passenger side kick panel, and the 4x4 still don't work???

Are there 5 allan bolts or 3 holding them in? If its the 3 swap those out to manuals ASAP. I had the same problem, switched and now they work great. I have the warn premiums and am very happy with them.:drinkbud

Here's another problem

When I push my 4x4 button, there is a clicking noise that comes from the computer behind the passenger side kick panel. Will that make my 4x4 not work? I have changed it out with another computer and it does the same thing.

and for two it tends to irritate the natives.
I like that.

It does click when you push the 4x4 button. Read that linked thread, it'll help.
