It will suck. The stuff is like 40 grit sandpaper and tends to leave a black soot on anything that touches it. The original floor covering absorbs a lot of road noise that the liner won't as well.

I herculined the entire inside of my bronco and the bottom 12 inches on the outside. The only thing would do differently is I shouldn't have stopped at the bottom 12 inches:toothless. Like they said buy extra and set aside a whole weekend for it. Do it right and take your time and you will be fine. What I did up front inside for mine was some cutting on the carpet to where i can take it in and out. This way I can just toss it out on the drive way and wash it when it gets dirty or take it and hang it to dry when its wet. From the front two seats you can't even tell its herculined.

its not something you'll want if you go barefoot. I think Duplicolor makes a smooth type liner.
I did the interior, but ended up putting the carpet back in because it was too loud. It will dampen it some, but not like the carpet. I sandblasted my interior, but 40 grit will work. Putty knife to take off that tar stuff. Prepping will take most of the day

It's both. You will hear everything a little louder...tires, engine, transmission...

i'm probably gonna look into this for my bronco and truck after i patch the holes in the floor of the bronco. might even do a little liner on the outside a few inches after i fix the rust. might even pull the carpet and stuff out of the probe and line the interior of that for the hell of it.

how much do you think putting a thin layer on the bottom of the cab help?

Bedliner on the lower portion of the outside of the body is a bad idea. It's going to be very hard to clean the porus surface. This is why there is a rock guard paint product. It's thicker and more durable than regular paint, but smooth enough that you can keep it clean.
On the inside of the body you should look for a smooth, two part liner at least. One part liners are just expensive and abrasive paint.

Not tring to highjack you 95f150sku but I am concerned about the heat as well just bc i have dogs. Is it going to be uncomfortable for them to lay down?

I used Duplicolor's Duraliner on the outside of my Bronco (up to the body line on outside and up on the hood). You can get a nice smooth texture if you use a standard (house paint) roller, maybe 3/8 nap....I wanted a smoother look to it and this turned out great. The key is prep. NOw, as far as road noise, engine and exhaust heat, not sure how it would do for that...you might find it quite a bit hotter and noisier in the cab

I did the lower rocker on mine but it's a trail rig and I don't wash it very often. The biggest issue I've had on the outside is the chalking from the sun so I just painted it flat black like the rest of my truck. I did the bushwacker flares and it made them a hell of a lot stronger. I hit a tree that would have normally cracked and chipped the hell out of the flare. It bent in around the shape of the tree and when I pulled out it popped back into place. I'm happy
Gets hot in dirrect sun but otherwise they should be fine.
