I just started to recently notice that my truck is hesitating on mid-heavy acceleration. It doesnt do it with slow acceleration but when i have to punch it or go on the highway it hesitates. On the highway i can barely keep it up to speed. Ive replaced the vapor canister, cleaned the throttle body and IAC, replaced the TPS and the fuel filter. I replaced all my ignition parts with accel wires, plugs, coil, rotor and cap. I tried pulling codes and nothing. What can I do to solve this issue?

is the cat cloged up? clean the fuel system with some sea foam. re-check timing is set correct.

better yet.. cut the cat out and put a straight pipe in place of it.. no worries then about a clogged cat

however you'll notice a loss of power due to no back pressure....

also is you throttle cable frayed/damaged in any way?

Did you ever find a solution to your issue? I have a very similar problem.

86 Bronco hesitates and bucks on acceleration. No power going uphill. Top speed about 55 MPH. I've cut out the catalytic converters.
