I just wanted to take time and say hi to the members here. Some of you know me from other boards. To those of you that don't I'm pretty much an easy going guy that thinks about Full Sized Broncos and there modification about 80% of the time. I'm currently running a Rancho 4" lift up front and a shackle flip in the rear. I now have 4.56 gearing on 33's. I plan to do a D60 swap up front with either a 14bolt or 10.25 axle in the rear. I plan on moving the rear axle back as far as the frame/leaf springs will let me and doing some serious cutting/ welding of new fenderwells to fit 38-44" tires. My dream is 44" boggers but i want to do it while still maintaining a somewhat low center of gravity. I still have to figure out how I'm going to stuff such big meats up front without lifting it to the sky as I'm unsure about the clearance to the cab while stuffed. Anyway I look at it I have my work cut out for me and some money to spend. I'll have my eyes glued to the SAS forumn most of the time. Take Care and wheel responsibly! :D NORM

Yo Norm, welcome home!!:beer You think about your mods that much too, huh? Well, if you can dream it...it can be done! Thats my theroy anyway. So ya wanna put 44's with as little lift as possible? It can be done, I think I got a pic laying around somewhere....Here ya go:

Now the rig above is a mud truck, and has no where near the wheel travel you will need, but if I remember right thats only like 2.5 or 3 inches of lift..:shrug Anyway enough rambling... glad ya found us!:thumbup

:lolup I'm afraid I'm going to nickle and dime this one untill I'm done. I just have to get started. I'm obsessed! I went out in the dark tonight and took the winch and bumper off. I'm going to pull the motor and do a cheap rebuild of it and try and fab up a Chevy TBI system to work on my 351. While the motors pulled I'll do what I can to get my leaf brackets on ect. I think it will be cool working on the D60 with no motor in the way up top. :D
