Why did you do that?
Probably 'cause it's way cheaper than the over-priced FIPK

Why yes I am a redneck. :toothless

Soft Top Bronco- The pipe was just a universal 4 inch pvc Y pipe and I glued some pieces to it which neck it down so the stock hoses clamp on to it. I had to cut a slit on the end of the stock rubber hoses to fit for now and then taped the holes but I will buy some universal tubing soon. The oil breather tube has the filter on the end and it just rests on the fender, there is no emissions tests in Ellensburg. However if you needed it to pass emisions it would not be hard to drill a hole into the pvc and attatch it there.

I was thinking of making a "cold air box" for my '86. If anyone has seen a fuel inj. '86 u'll understand why i want to change it. It sucks. I want to either get air tubes from a '87 or newer and make an air box for a universal k&n cone or buy an intake kit if i can find one. Either something has to be done. Also I want to swap the drivers side valve cover for a newer one sice i'll have to locate the oil breather.

Any one do anything like this?
