i think i am going to buy a 351 for my bronc. how much should i offer? i know it runs but other than that i dont know much about it.when i buy it i want to go through it and replace things that cant be replaced with the motor in the truck. i just need to know what that is?i think the motor is out of a 78 or 79 F150.thanks.

First off you have a 302, therefore small block bolt pattern on your bellhousing. You say the 351 you're looking at is in a 78 or 79 F-150 so it's probably a 351M. If it's a 351M it won't work unless you change your trans because it has a big block bolt pattern for the bell housing. It needs to be a 351W to be a direct swap.
As far as price, it all depends on how many miles are on it what kinda condition it's in. If it needs rebuilt, no more than a couple hundred. If it's strong and ready to go then probably $400. This will also very on location.
