Are you talking the linkage that changes gear selections or do you mean TV cable adjustment?
How to adjust AOD manual shift linkage?
I just installed a new tranny (I have another thread going about the noise it's making) and I think I'm not getting the linkage adjusted correctly. I followed the Haynes procedure, but I still have the feeling that it's not quite right. Anyone have any suggestions or alternate procedures?

I think it is adjusted correctly after all. I think there's a more serious problem. I was hoping that it just wasn't going into the detents all the way, causing some kind of mischief.
