To re-hash a question I posed yesterday.....I am trying to decide if I want to build my engine in the future to be NA or SC. I'd like to hear from both sides, especially those who have done either. I want to know details, especially relating to driveability and dependability of both systems. Give me your opinions, and I would like everything to work with what I already have. Any input is greatly appreciated.:beer

i think you have to beef up the motor quite a bit to be able to handle the forces of supercharging. might not work with everything you already have.

I'm not talking about blowing it with 17 PSI. You can buy a few different setups ranging from 5 to 9 PSI That will bolt up to the truck as it sits, from the factory. However, with 144K on the clock, I will go through the engine from top-to-bottom to go either route.

What are you considering when you say a NA engine? Stock or built for more power?

That seems like that would be a good kick in performance from the 199 HP that our engines were supposed to have new and probably haven't seen in years. I am tempted at some point to buy one of their engines or build one as close as I can. I would love some more EFI power for towing.
