If you had an '80-86 you could remove the cardboard section from under the dash....not sure on the "newer" ones....try prying it open carefully with a screwdriver....

crowbar it out or use a ford wrench (aka a big ass hammer) i mean if somethings going to break its probably just part of the little open mechanisim and im sure that will be like 3 bucks to replace...if that

My glovebox in my old 83 got stuck once. I got it open with a big screwdriver...but I had to break the lock. Maybe someone else can give ya some better advice.

your probaly going to have to break it to get into it. should be able to pry on it and bust the latch. I think you can buy those seperate

break it and use your console! the old glovebox location would make a nice place for your cb!

if you really want to leave the dash pretty well intact, i would drill out your latch through the key hole and then just replace that, if it doesnt open it sounds like it needs to be replaced anyway...

i r teh get it openz0r. Drilled through the kill hole, Just enough to unfreeze it....And it still locks:goodfinge No damage done...SCORE.

Me, too. I drilled the lock out. It was quite messy.
