my girlfriend lives in this nieghberhood where people are not permited to park on the sides of the street but every time i go to her house i have to park on the street because they have no room for my fullsize bronco anyway i was just wondering if locking my truck in 4x4 when i go to park can kept them from towing my truck

they'll just disconnect the trailer, and tow it behind the flat bed...they do have hitches... and i've seen it
but if you have locks on the coupler and reciever then what

take the wheels off and set it up on blocks... itd be way too much of hassle to tow you- theyd probably write your girl a letter and maybe a ticket.
but hey...they wont tow it!

but seriously...

lock the parking brake, turn the wheels all the way to the side in 4x4 and pop the hood, then you can just tell the judge that it broke down, lol

turn the front tires all the way to the right then pull up so the tires are touching the curb then lock the steering wheel they wont be able to tow it with a roll back or wheel lift every time they pull on it the truck will hope the bed (I use to drive a roll back for a few months then it went belly up)

Another reason HOA's suck. Is this restriction at any time, or is it only for overnight parking? Sometimes there are clauses in the CCR's that allow temporary parking, but I would check the rules first.
