I pulled my cluster because the CEL wasn't lighting on startup. Turns out the bulb is ok. Weird. I put it back in the truck and now it works. Great, must've been a loose connector. Run the KOEO and KOER and get 111s across the board! :chili:
I was searching the boards and wondered why I never had a key/door/headlight chime. Searched the wiring diagram and found a pigtail under the dash that looks strangely like the DLC. I thought maybe it was the plug they use to check emissions in the newer vehicles but the colors all matched the chime. I looked in my glovebox for a box I never know what it was. I thought it was a brake controller or something. Plugged it in...BAM...chime. Nice. Guess the PO didn't like it but I'm glad he kept it for me. I wanted it more for the headlights than anything.
