Spotted this in a back yard today, might swing by after this whole “issue” is over to see if there interested in parting with it. So how about you post up pics of where you seen a bronco slowly rushing into oblivion (JY excluded)

There's a bull nose around the corner, and another within a mile thats been for sale for ages.
Pics or it didn’t happen, Florida is a bit of a drive from Oregon, for an old truck.

Where does he keep the other half of the maniquin????? Haha

I’ve had poor luck asking people about junk in their yard.... most of the time they get offended

That’s actually the neighbors back yard we were in a side road. I hear ya on the offended thing but it don’t hurt to ask, I have been called just about every name under the sun. I’ll try to do some “exercise“ walking to see if I can tell condition better and estimate how long it’s sat.

I've posted this one before a long time ago in another thread. 78 Bronco. I ended up stopping when he was outside drinking a beer, or several beers, and he said he'd take $2500 for it. I did not buy it as I did not want to spend $2500 on another Bronco... yet. It's been sitting for several years and I probably asked him a year ago.

I’d offer him $1500 and see if he bites..... provided you got $1500

As for the one in my op there was a fellow in the mannequin back yard so here’s how it went.
Me.... Do they drive that green bronco?

Him... No.

Me ... you think they might want to part with it?

Him....No it’s my buddies and he passed away, it’s going to his daughter when she’s old enough to drive.

Me ... Ok thanks, sorry to hear about your buddy.

Him... No problem thanks, take’er easy.

As I’m walking away........

My brain... That things going to sit there for 4-5 years rusting rotting and likely won’t be drivable?! God I hate to see things sit and die like that. Lucky kid if she’s 15 though.

Yeah, I didn't press him much when I spoke with him. I was going to look at a 77 F-150 that was being sold for $600 (that now sits in front of my house) and figured I'd see how much he wanted for the Bronco before I looked at that truck to see how close of a price to my $600 he was going to say.

Right now I'm focusing my funds on my Bronco rather than purchasing another one. Whenever I get around to selling that F-150 after I fix it up a bit I'll probably take whatever I get for it and see if he'll sell that Bronco. I'm hoping for $1500 for the truck once I'm done, nothing crazy. Not like I need another vehicle in front of my house though. I need to get down to two vehicles (Bronco and F-100) or I need my own parking lot.

I drive by a early bronco half cab, often that hasn't moved in years.

My current fleet of running vehicles is one, a white 99 e250. Waiting to get fixed is 85 bronco, 08 f350, 96 f350, 88 f250 crawler, 78 f150, and a 02 explorer. Got a dead 03 mustang too, as well as a boat needing a repower and a gator needing clutch work.

Both! Rats got the explorer, twice, and I havent dove back into it yet. It's just a beater anyways. The 78 hasn't run in 15 years. 96 getting a zf5 swap. Still. Bronco runs, but has been getting upgrades and needs the clutch hydraulics replaced. 88 is a parts truck that will be turned I to a crawler. 08 was my DD until bank 2 timing went all wonky.

2015 mazda 3, 78 bronco and just traded a running 2000 lesabre I got for about $200 for a 2004 Volvo with a bad MC and a 1991 ranger with what I suspect are the infamous cracked heads on the 2.9L

So we're listing fleets now? Alright.

78 Bronco
77 F100
77 F150
06 Honda Pilot

I'm assuming everyone with a larger stockpile of Fords than me has a decently sized place to put them. Mine are all parked in front of my house on the street and I play musical Fords every once in a while to keep Code Enforcement off my butt. Eventually the F150 is going bye bye and I'll just keep swapping back and forth between my F100 and Bronco commuting to work like I already do. I just have to park them in different positions every once in a while, because the Code Enforcement guy doesn't believe that I drive them as he "never sees them move". I work nights and they move when he's not working or maybe even awake.

Only fleets of non-running projects! Or at least that was my reasoning.

People always are asking about my 78 f150. I think we had 5 or 6 people at the garage sale when we were moving ask about it. Normally, my stuff isnt visible from the road.
