ive been having a problem with my bronc dying when i put it in gear. so i replace a few vacuum lines and the maf sensor. it still didnt fix the problem. so i took the iac valve off and sprayed the inside with throtle body cleaner. and now i can not get the valve to move at all:doh0715:. is there a way to fix it other than a trip to orileys for a new one?

did you think of pulling codes before you started throwing parts at it?

yea, and?

look at how dirty the throttle body is, right where the valve opens. i have seen many times where stalling in gear, low/bad idle, and stumble off idle is cause by a dirty throttle body. i recently cleaned mine and was amazed at just how dirty it was.

that being said, you might have messed your idle control valve. if you did, get a new one from FORD.
