What is this wire? In the pic It's on the body mount bracket just behind the radius arm bracket on the passenger side and goes up under the block of wood I put in there (temp) to hold the body above the mount while installing my body lift. My guess is its some sort of a ground...it connects to the body.

Ground strap/wire, It should have clips on both ends.

Is this the main body to frame ground?? Is it necessary??

the more grounds the better the electrical system works. keep it or add a new one if this one is bad.
