what's the best way to go? ford racing, fluidamper, ati or stock?

Factory. These engines never see over 5500 RPM anyway, and the OE quality is hard to beat.

I went with a stock replacement from Ford Racing. Price was good, and more then my motor will need.

I went stock with my replacment from Napa. I also got the seal and luckily it went in from the front.

Also check it when you get it, the first one i got (checked it on the spot luckily) had the little rubber part all messed up.

I just got a stock one, so far its working fine. Like it was said, these motors don't rev real high so nothing special is really needed.

If you leave it parked for any lenth of time I would not reccomend the Fluid damper

I'm wondering too. I know many people that have them on rigs that don't even get started from October to May
i have one on my mach and she sits all winter, have not had issues in the past
