My son's 4WD 92 FSB with 5.8L is experiencing normal ops for an hour or so or driving then begins to miss and lose power. We have replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, O2 sensor and cleared all codes with no change.
My mechanic thinks it may be an intermittant part in the spark box that breaks down when it gets hot.
Do you agree or have a different idea?
Thanks,

If you'll buy a $15 Haynes manual (PN 36058) & a $15 multimeter, either you or your son can do the ignition diagnostics the next time it happens. Then you'll know for sure before throwing part$ at it.
