So, this is how well the new color matched!

Out of these 3 pieces in the picture, one was from another vehicle and fully repainted. One was sun faded, and was touched up. The third was not touched at all.
Tell me which is which. :toothless

B-pillar looks a touch lighter in the sunlight :goodfinge

Quarters were touched up. Topper trim wasn't touched. B pillar fully repainted

Lol, I figured you'd be able to tell! You're right.

But, it's extremely close, and close enough for me.

Especially when these are what I took out:

I knew you had touched up the quarters, and the topper trim has a couple thin wear spots in the pic. Process of elimination! I could only notice the color variance in the direct light. Looks the same in the shadows. Definitely looks much much better.

Hey Ethan,
I did!



I didn't get SEMS, but was able to cross reference the original paint code, which is Desert Tan 25199. This is from an '84 Ford interior reference guide.
I had a local paint shop mix me up a can and used a compressor sprayer.


I also have the can in the garage if you need any more info.
