$129.00 after shiping
And it only took them 3 weeks to get it to me :twak :banghead :twak
none of the lowes, home depot, ect stores carry peel-n-seel around where i live :lowblow
Id like to know how quiet it is compared to before...Once your done. I want to do this to the front and sides...I rhino-lined the floor and tailgate..
RAAMmat is available here for $99. It is 62.5 sq. ft and I swear this stuff is better than other sound deadening materials out there. No lingering odors and easy to work with. I think Rick is still giving discounts if you mention FSB. The difference in sound is night and day compared to not having any sound deadening. This stuff makes for a much more quiet ride, and sound quality of the stereo is much better also. Click my stereo link if you want more details. :thumbup
More done.

It has carpet :chili:

OOPS!
the wife caught me bakeing the paint on the rear seat hinges, In her oven.

Trim rail and sterio wires ran.

Seat and pannel back in. :chili: :chili:

Are the seat parts being powdercoated in your house oven? i checked into that about 2 mos ago and they said that the fumes were toxic and not to use an oven that you cook in after? what system are you using, i am interested. ( i dont want to install a oven in my garage quite yet)

I painted the floor with POR-15

The paint system I used on the back seat hinges is caled Krylon. :toothless

I didnt want to waste my expinsave POR-15 on them, becouse unlike the floorboard they are easy to get to if they ever rust again.

After painting them I let them dry, put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven at 180* for about 15min.

All this does is cure the paint. Wich makes it harder and makes it stick a little better.

It's somthing I lerned when I was 10, when I baked the paint on my brake handle for my Bike. I'v been doing it to little parts ever since. :thumbup

So when you did this how did you avoid covering bolt holes? Did you just cut through the peel and seal?

EDIT: Also did you have any of the original underlayer of carpet padding stick to the body? Anyone know how to get that stuff up? I could scrap mine off but I do not want to scrape the paint. Solvents?
looks good gacknar
man, i bought 300sqft of this fatmat last year. 360 bucks to my front door. i installed 230sqft in my truck. 4 layers on the floors, 3 on the sides, 2 on the roof. i did this last winter in my truck w/ the heat blasting. havent had a problem let for some corners coming down from the roof. considering it was freezing out and i didnt clean it that well, id say its good. im gonna fix it up w/ my heat gun some time. stuff's awesome. makes a huge difference if you ask me. im going to lay 1/4 or 3/8 of carpeting underlay all over as well eventually. id post pics of everything, but im on my laptop out of my house.

THOSE ROLLERS SUCK SHLONG

i broke all 3 of them in the first day before digging out a wood roller. you really need to clean and dry the surface good. if you do that, make sure you put it where you want it. very hard to take off after its stuck good.

you should see, my trucks completely silver on the inside. it keeps the rust out of sight.

Gack, you've gotta be the coolest old guy I've ever E-met. :histerica

Just messing with you, that fatmat is looking pretty good to me, my exhaust has quite a bit of cabin resonance. (Of course it would, it's a turndown system right at the rear axle..)
Keep it looking that good and the old lady will actually enjoy the backseat of the Bronco.....

Looking good Gack......keep up the good work.
Gack what is peel and seal? I wonder if you could do this after i Herculined the interior? I was thinking of laying some carpet down again in the front or the rubber mat thing. i dont know yet

If he's talkin' about the same stuff... It's the stuff that is real similar to dynamat.

I'm not too sure if it would stick to the herc. My guess, is it would.

I've got a whole roll, that I'm not gonna use.

Let me know if you want some to mess around with.
