Tranny is under warranty. Is it suppose to do this?

Is my tranny shaft suppose to do this?

The input shaft does slide in and out... if that's what you're referring too.

normal. just make sure that when you put the shaft back in it snugness that spline

Yup all good. I like to find them in the JY and pull them out. They make excellent punches and whatnot.

What about the torque converter insides sliding around unusual when I shake it? I’ve had it for almost two years now and just recently I have no gears. Left me stranded by my house and had to tow it back. Fluids were good and everything. Felt like something hit hard and after that no gears. I’ve got it out now and just going to take it to the shop it’s under warranty with.

You sure it's your trans and not your transfer case that went bad? Instant no gears to me sounds like transfer case.
