I just got done completely replacing my tailgate - started with a new shell, and transferred as much of the internals as I could re-use, and bought the rest from JBG.

The only thing that I have a question about is the floppiness of the track inside the topper that the tailgate slides into. I can push it in each direction at least an inch. I see the holes in the topper where the seal track clips into, but there doesn't look like there is anything that keeps the seal from moving.

Is it SUPPOSED to move back and forth (towards the front, towards the back)?? Maybe in order to "give" a little if the topper moves/shifts relative to the tailgate?
