i used search and didnt find much of anything useful..

mk my question is, is thee any company that makes a higher output alternator for a 96 bronco? as far as i know i have the 90-95 amp....now i know a guy i can get to rework it (does this type of work) and end up with a 120....but i was pretty sure that ive read somewhere that there was aftermarket alternators that put out greater numbers then that.....

any help?? :banghead

You couldn't have searched..
Mean Green makes an Alt.
Wrangler makes an Alt.
You can get a G3 from the parts store or a junk yard

try a search for the G3 alternator. These alternators are pretty common and it can be put into your truck fairly easily. They are a lot better than the stock alternator.

I got one out of an ambulance and rebuilt it to 170, just mounts in the upper mounting hole.
