My volts go down low then back up all the time, day or night. Lights dont dim or anything, even if I turn off everything it stays low, but will go back up to about half, then back to low.

mine does that sometimes. but when i give it gas it goes back to normal and stays but sometimes goes back down like yours. may be the guage.

well if it's not the gauge then your alternator might be dieing. autozone or one of those places check them for free. if it is going it'a a good time to look up getts a G3. my .02

I just bought the alt about 8 months ago? I did get the cheaper one, but has a life time warr.
