This is just a theoretical question i was wondering. If money was no object, which would be a better offroad engine. An EFI 460 with a supercharger. Or a stroked EFI 460? Thanks

i think this all depends on what you use your motor for. for reliability i would have to say a stroked 460, if you just wanted all out power and had more money than sense slap a vortech blower on it. but me, id go with a stroked EFI and not run a real radical engine. even if you are a mudslinger you dont need 2000 horsepower, so to keep it reliable and off the trailer, a mildly built EFI 460

personally id go with a EFI normal 460. strokers have more uptop than down low.

Personaly, I want a 514 in mine some day. But where do you draw the line? I've got the bug, and want more power, but my bored 302 has everything I'll every really need.

My personal opinion is the SC setup using a roots type blower. It will give you a great boost from the moment you hit the gas unlike a vortec style centrifugal which is better at higher rpm's.

If money was no object I'd bore it , stroke it and blow it!
