I've been wondering what that gap in the engine compartment was for, I've been debating on adding an additional battery in that spot. I have the original jack, cross wrench and other part but I have a bigger jack with jack stands I carry around with me that I need to figure out how to secure.

Yo,
In event he doesn't need a hi lift:
"2 ton hydraulic floor jack held to the inside of the frame rail with two big U bolts" by madmax

"I picked up a 3ton mini floor jack at Auto Zone for around 50.00 it fits nicely in the back and just make sure you have a piece of wood or it will sink into the ground if not on hard surfices" by stusainte
