Hey guys, I just picked up a 1993 Bronco. It's got 261k miles, 90k on a rebuilt motor. It's a beater, my bro and I need it to pull our atvs around. It runs good, I can fix most of the cosmetic stuff, it will eventually get a rattle can paint job after I fix the rust. Let me know what you guys think, suggestions welcome.

Thanks guys. I have to replace the power steering pump, the rear window motor, and the front bumper. I plan on cutting that rust over the fenderwells off, then I'll use rustconverter and paint and then throw on some fender flares over it (ghetto I know, but it should do the trick). It needs new tires also, I've got some 31x10.5's (I forget the brand) on an old truck that I'm gonna put on. Next is a full tune up, it needs a good cleaning, and then I just need to sand and paint it. It'll probably take me a couple weeks, it's not my daily driver so there's no hurry.

Edit: I searched around, I don't need a new window motor, I just need to replace those torque pins or whatever they're called. Anyone know where to get them?

Welcome to FSB. You can probably find them in the "help" section at one of your local auto parts store like advance, autozone etc. There are always some on ebay as well.
Thanks, I just found some on ebay with the help of another member. I've been on this site a day and already I saved money :thumbup .

Just a little update, last week I did a tune up, I still have to replace the fuel filter but I did the air filter, cap, rotor, plugs, changed the oil and filter, it's running pretty well now. I also replaced the battery and cleaned and sealed the terminals.

I worked on it some more today, my brother gave me a hand cleaning it, he vacuumed it, and we took out the rear seat. I fixed the rear window, sure enough the old pins were just broken apart completely and floating around in the motor, so I put in the new ones and packed it with grease. I sprayed some silicone on the seal at the bottom of the window but I think I need to replace it. I'm in the process of getting new tires put on, next on my list is the power steering pump and then body work and paint. After I do the cosmetic stuff I'll throw up some more pics, it'll probably be another week or two though.
