So this is a 1978 Bronco XLT Ranger. IT was it California since sold. No Rust, The interior is crap. It is mostly Stock with the 351M and C6.

I have major plans for her.
  • 17MY F150 Coyote swap with 6R80 (only 20K miles..) from a junkyard
  • 4 BDS lift with rear sping, ordered already
  • 35 in all terrain tires. I am not sure how much bigger bigger wheel than the 15 in I will get. I will go close to 12 in wide ...6R80 to NP205
  • PBH Control pack, speed drive and fuel system
  • New Cooling, AC, Heat ... still looking, Vintage air does not have a kit for 78/79 Broncos. Please make recommendations
  • I will take apart and do a full Restoration in my Garage. I can take the Top off and the front clip. I will have to be create to remove the body.
  • I will paint it myself, black with likely a free-wheeling package, not sure yet.
  • I will keep keep the NP205 and use an F-150 /mustang floor sifter
  • She does not look great on the inside, so she will need seats, carpets etc...\
  • I will use chassis saver for the frame
  • I am looking for a NP205 to 6R80 adapter ... no luck so far ..

That old transfer case is a sought after NP205. They are nearly indestructible due to the 100% iron and steel construction. The only downside is the whimpy 1.96:1 low range ratio. You could get 2-300 bucks for it, as is.
