I think that this set up is about the same light output as the old system, 5 or 6 years ago when the L.E.D.'s were first coming out I didn't think that they were bright enough but that has really changed in the last few years.blueoval78 said:you guys are stealing all my ideas, i had that one stored away in my brain for a while, and was gonna give it a wearl sometime soon.

My truck has the C-6 but the wiring harnesses are equiped for a std. trans also. The std. trans. has a stop command switch on the brake pedal and the clutch pedal. When it is an automatic there is a jumper wire that by-passes the clutch switch. I installed a courtesy light from the salvage yard in with this being the hot wire and the chassis being the ground.TRUCKY18 said:did the install effect anything other than the cruise? I heard you need a differant flasher thingy in the fues panel. Where is it exactly you mount the light buld for the cruise?
