The L/S in the 8.8 is kinda worn out. Its not bad yet, so im not gonna mess with it for awhile, but the one in my bronco II is better than it. I know its a factory clutch type one, but Im wondering whats involved? You dont have to removing the carrier right? Anyone know of a good writeup for this? Is ford the only place you can get the parts from?

Thanks for the website:thumbup Anyone ever rebuilt one of these things. I know there are better L/S out there but Im not willing to pay when I already have one. I have heard from some people that these ones can be built up really good.

not built good enough for the rocks.
