LED blinker issue

I had a feeling this would happen and it did... I know LED's draw less power than normal bulbs, and because of this it thinks a bulb is blown and wont blink...

What I need to know is, what do I have to replace to fix this.. I know you can use resistors or whatever but thats kinda ghetto... What I want to do is replace the blinker module that I think is under the dash on the drivers side in the fuse panel with a new one that will work... I think thats where it is, right? that round silver thing?

This is what I want to replace it with, its one rescuebronc sells but as we know he aint selling anything right now

Yep, that is right. Just replace the flasher with an LED flasher....I've seen them at parts stores, no doubt the zone carries them.

my vatozone is very hispanically influenced, which means the selection sucks half the store is just SPECTRE HYPER FILTERS... i'll see though... I just hate going there, 4 ways to enter, one way to exit :doh0715:
Any of the other parts stores would carry them too.

the thing is just getting one that fits, most of the ones i see are square and almost look like relays, and ours, i think, are round...
Well it is a relay, as long as it plugs in, doesn't really matter what shape it is.

I'd look through Sam's original thread and PM someone who has the round flasher you pictured and see if they can give you a part # off of it.
good idea
led

if you have a napa or oreilly's they will for sure have to have both styles in stock
I used a blazer electronic flasher I bought at vatozone on my bike and it fixed the flash rate after getting led blinkers. The electronic flasher usually fix the resistance problem you get from having led bulbs.
