Hey All,
I’ve been a member of FSB for a long time and am now just getting around to this. I am on my third FS Bronco, a ‘91 Eddie Bauer, and have owned it for almost 3 years. I bought it in Dallas, TX, when we lived there briefly, and drove it to AZ last December. Since I bought her, I t-boned a Kia Rio that ran a red light and had to replace everything from the core support forward, along with the driver side fender, had the frame straightened and the core support straightened, welded and painted.
Last January I had the complete brake system replaced and, a few months later, I had a ‘93 Lightning motor built and installed with a 3” exhaust all the way back in her.
My wife and I have hit the trails several times and had to do some modifications after, almost, every trip. Dual Electric fans, Single Wire Alternator and completely removed all of the Smog Equipment, except the sensors.
Next on the list is a 4” Lift with extended radius arms and converting to the 4 shock buckets up front. I may do a Superlift Superunner Steering System in her at the same time.
We can’t afford regearing to 4:56 or 35” tires, so we’ll Stick with the 32” BFG KO2s until we can scrape some $$ together for those. I plan to convert to the Saginaw PS Pump system soon thereafter, if not, at the same time.
Take care,
Lightning Rob
