Hello long term lurker with very minimal postings here. Anyways i had to sell my last bronco a somehow clean and rust free 95 5.0 in Utah, went to buy it back at the end of the summer and guys kid had turned into those giant yellow poles at the gas sation :/ so yeah ended just buying a Ranger that served me well.
Well it served me well until I hit a wild boar in Texas and then it was nothing but problems. So after getting rid of it I finally bought me another full size :) proud new owner of a 93 Eddie Bauer green on tan with the 5.8 this time. The guy was going to either sell it for parts or junk it, claimed it needed a new head gasket. We jumped it drove it onto the trailer and towed her home. Got her home checked fluids and after a quick top off of oil and coolant came to the conclusion that it wasn't a headgasket, I'm betting something along the lines of an intake manifold gasket. Either way I added a bottle of the beloved and hated copper fix crap as a precaution because there was barely any coolant mixed into the oil (enough that could have been condensation from not running for long). Come Spring if it holds out I'll drop in new headgaskets with some GT heads either way, just don't want to do it in the snow!

Anyways it's good to be back in a proper truck again!

Yo Jerlaine,
Welcome back with your 93!

ASAP, find out if speed control, if equipped, recall work completed by a dealership. Call local dealer or register and view status @ https://owner.ford.com; or @ https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/vin/ ... have VIN ready.
The affected vehicles were previously repaired using a wiring harness that is not compatible with the vehicle circuit polarity. As a result, the fuse is located in the output circuit rather than in the intended input power feed circuit, and may not offer the intended protection in the event of an electrical short to ground. This could result in an underhood fire. Dealers will install a new wiring harness, or replace the mating electrical component. east302 provided following for his 93 "I found the recall information on alldata...didn't know it was even there so that's a plus. Mine has the updated harness with two fuses instead of one, so it looks like the recall was addressed correctly."

Note that the 93 recall is different that the other years.
