First off I would like to apologize if I dont have this post on the right category or I should of looked for a similar question. With that being said... My bronco has high miles and Im looking to possibly get another engine or a good shop to rebuild my engine. My valve covers are leaking some and my oil pressure is dropping when I drive slow or to a complete stop. I live in long beach beach ca. Any help would be great. I've done quite a few things to it and dont want to sell it.
My mechanic says its losing pressure cause the the engine is possibly going out. It does also make a ticking sound. I also use 20-50 oil. If I use thinner oil itll drop much faster. I love my bronco and want to make my next decision the best decision.

Hey there Broncopepster, I just happen to have a 351 M out of a 77 F150 2x4 that I used as a parts truck when my 79 Bronco got away from me and rolled into a tree. The engine ran when I parked it- but the tenant was bad - no reverse. It is free for the asking. It is in Redding, CA now and I can get it to you anywhere between there and Sacramento.

Cab with glass and doors are also available.

Let me know if you are interested.
