They're rebuildable, revalveable and 2.5". For the price, I don't think you can beat the performance for a crawler.

For the front it would be on the long side and hard to utilize the entire stroke, but for the rear I think it's a good choice. I would probably use the same if going through the floor.

the 18 will be in the rear through the floor. I at this point use ALL of a 15" stroke, and figured for the small amount of money more, an 18 over a 16 will be a better choice, based on FOA pricing.

For the fronts, I may end up going with a 16 just cause the costs are olny 5 bucks different

Steve I think given the tire size Damon is running he could actually use a 16" shock, because the mounting surface will be much lower at full bump. Meaning the centerline of the spindle will not tuck up as far as ours would with 35's and I'm certain he's got enough articulated droop to utilize 16" with proper placement.

I was thinking he had a TTB front end.

I guess if you're mounting it in front of the coil bucket and way out on the end of the axle tube or knuckle you could use a pretty long shock.
