The ring & pinion on the left are by Yukon.

The ring & pinion on the right are by Precision gear.

The D44 is a lot smaller than the 8.8, like 1/3rd smaller.

Just from the naked eye, both appear to be really high quality, but the Precision Gear brand looks to be a bit better.

They are 4.89/4.88 :beer

Time, time, time, and a little thing called money is the only thing slowing me down.
Geesh, you guys are brutal. I have spent every last penny I got so far, maxed out my cards, and got a second job to pay for this addiction, and all i hear is hurry up and finish. LOL!!!!!!
All in due time my friends.

Oh and I have a friend in AZ who is installing my gears.
The one and only Scott, aka Dogonmut, or however that is spelled.
He is a really swell guy, and when we (Keith and I) drive down there I have to bring extra lube because we are probably meeting up with Dustin too.
I get Scott first though, and then Dustin gets my sloppy seconds.
If Keith goes, he can have the dirty thirds!!!!!!!!!!!!
:histerica :goodfinge :goodfinge :brownbag
What are friends for?

I gotta get enough fundage for Dustin too so he can throw on some sliders while i am there. If I dont have the funds then its just more lovin for him to pay my debt...............Damn I am going to have to stock up on the viagra :hump :goodfinge

Way to go man, :beer I'll hopefully have some of those by the end of the month along with the rest of the parts I need for mine..It's one of those things where every little bit you get puts you that much closer to having the SAS done..I even put together an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of everything I still need, and the price. Every time I look at it, the number keeps getting bigger. :thumbup

Are you crazy? NEVER quantify how much you need to spend, never speak it, and never write it down.........all of this only makes it seem larger. Just keep working and spending.

Absolutely! Just make sure to keep them locked away somewhere. Then many
years from now, when your ready to sell the bronco, get 'em out. Add 'em
up and come to the realization that there is no way in hell you could part
with it. :toothless

Nice parts Beerman.

WES, i am wanting to be done by the end of March.
End of April at the latest.
But I can only do that if the kind peeps helping me out have the free time between now and then.

I am way downs to go on an FSB excursion, but honestly when this whole thing is said and done it will be my very first time driving a truck or anything at all over stock.
The Bronco was my very first 4x4 and it took me a while to get used to that because I came from a Metro. True, i used to drive a Metro.

So I would like to go off-roading a few times to get used to the rig before I go on any big excursions. I want to look like I know what I am doing just a little. HAHA.

I feel your pain bro! Im currently acquiring parts to build a.......(gasp!)....zuk....and its taking forever to save enough cash for everything i need. And all i ever get from my friends are 'whens it gonna be done?!'

I promise to go one-ton with the bronco when the zuk's done though :toothless :thumbup

Spreken ze huh?

I'm all for man lovin' as long as it doesn't envolve me taking part in it or having to view or hear about it. I'm as liberal as the next gun owning, big truck driving, white T-shirt wearing, my life is like an episode of Springer Republician.

You do realize you are coming to Arizona not Haiti?

...just checkin'. :toothless

BTW BM...it is BM isn't it...did you vote for Full Size of the Year yet?...I think I hear the price of your gear install going up...

LOL!!!
