This noise occurs when I am on uneven ground, either uphill or downhill with the wheel turned all the way. When it occurs it continues if I stop the vehicle, so I'm sure it's not just rubbing. It happens in 2wd and 4wd. The noise is very loud and sounds almost as bad as metal grinding. Anyone have any idea what this could be?

How about your PS Pump screaming. When I turn the wheel all the way mine does that too...

So could this be the steering pump itself of something to to with the steering gear box?

what color and condition is the fluid in the pump?

How about the fluid level in the power steering pump?

Fluid is full and the color looks very good like it may have been changed right before I got the truck a few months ago.

Figured this one out.
It seems my radiator supports are a little rotted and allowed just enough flex for the fan shroud to get in the way of the fan. The shroud was loose on the bottom also so I zip tied it in place, no more noise now!

ther must be a lot of rot in the core support for it to flex that much.
