I recently saw a cheby with newer style wheels on it from say an 04 or so. So i go to thinking, what if i found some newer style, nice looking 16" or 18" wheels and threw them on. Well the newer style ones are either 6 lug or the 5 lugs are a different size pattern. So the question is are lug pattern converter such as these a bad idea??

They are fine. I used them same to put the metric pattern on my Bronco.

No different than a regular bolt on spacer, which nobody has a problem with.

Wheel adapters have come a long way, you used to hear about them breaking, but you never hear that anymore. I think they would be ok to run.

Awesome that's good to hear. Is there a brand yall would recommend? And with these would I be able to run a zero backspace wheel and not have to worry about rub on full lock as much?
