i'm doing the maf conversion, i'm using a 96 f-150, 5.0/aode
convertin a 93 f-150 to MAF, only questions i'm having is, i will still be able to use my AOD tranny right?

What computer do you have? If the AODE was controlled by the EEC, than this would be a problem when mating up to your non E AOD. The EEC would be looking for a tranny.

The computers for E4ODs and AODEW/4R70Ws are different, right?

Even if they were the same, it will not run the truck. The AOD is not electronically controlled.

That 96 stuff is OBD-II and everything on the 93 is OBD-I to boot.

You don't want to run the e4od ecu.. You'll get check engine lights..

Get the ECU from a mustang with MAF and a manual tranny.

i heard someone did a c6 swap in place of the e40d and they just left the mlps in neutral an zip tied it to the frame.
