I am removing my manual locking hubs and I can’t get the locking body off. Removed locking cap, inner snap ring, outer retention ring. It looks like it is stuck on the outer axle shaft splines as there is a sharp raised edge from damage. I just want to know if this is normal before getting in there with a dremel and filing it down
For the record this truck has been abused for the better part of 24 years and the hubs were seized in the locked position.
