In the not too distant future, I'll be registering my 90 5.0 Bronco here in Michigan. The 302 in it is a bit tired, and I'm curious how tough the emissions are here in MI. Anyone know?
I'm from the Detroit area and as far as I know there are no emissions testing anywhere in the state. Emissions testing stopped long before I got my license in 1995.
Yep you do not have to worrie about it. if it smokes its fine. The last time I had mine on the road it looked like a 007 car with all the smoke it had comming out of it.
The only emissions testing I remember was in the early to mid 80's and that was only Wayne county(Detroit area). They stopped sometime while I was in the Navy.
