I guess I forgot to tighten the heat shield bolts after my transgo install.

It's gone, and I am not sure if it really did anything or not. I assume it did, and that the heat will eventually cause my solenoids to stick. What do you think and, where in the eck would I find one of these? I guess a junk yard unless anyone has one laying around.

If it comes down to it, that piece isn't anything you can't fabricate by yourself. Take some snips, a bit of sheet steel, blend with some creative bending, and you should have one that's just as functional as the factory piece.

I think it's purpose is to keep the exhaust heat from melting the plastic connector for the solenoid pack.
