Scanned and added the print outs from Desktop-Dyno.

Desktop-Dyno is usually a little optimistic, so these numbers may be higher than what I will actually get. We wont know until I put it on a dyno.

Gacknar: Have you done anything to the AOD to hold up? I am thinking of going AOD instead of the E40d since I am very familiar with the AOD and also I can convert to a Mass Air system from a mustang. Specifically a A9L computer for the 351w.

I have not done anything to the AOD yet. But I plan to before the Bronco hits the streets.

Here are my plans.

B&M Super cooler.

Transgo shift kit.

Remote Trany filter.

Baumann AOD Pressure Regulator Boost Valve Kit

I am still reserching on replacing the servos depending on wich ones I find in the tranny.

Hopefully these mods will help my AOD last for several years.

I give the stock AOD 20 mins behind that engine.
Good work, Gack!
The AOD as it is now will only be used to do a few light test runs. After the engine is in and operating properly the AOD will get it's upgrades.

Regardless if the tranny is a C6, or AOD, a new engine, especially a very built one will take its toll on the clutch packs in a tranny that has miles on it. Gack, you should consider going ahead and have the tranny upgraded with alto red clutch packs and a 300m center shaft. Maybe even a wide ration gear set. The other option would be the 4R70W and Baumann controller. Hell, you already have your left nut in this project, may as well through in the right nut too.

There is no one around here I trust to go through the tranny. If it fails I'll order a custome built performance tranny online. (Some one posted a link to a good one last week)

My tranny guy closed up shop a few years ago. There is no one else in the ATL Metro area that could rebuild a factory AOD to save there lives, right alone build a perfomance one.

Who knows, if it fails I might try my hand at rebuilding it just as an experiment. :toothless

But more than likely i'll just order one.
