So after going to the Bronco Roundup in Florence Oregon and seeing my girls excitement with all the Broncos on the sand , we decided to dive headfirst into a new project. I picked up a 79 freewheeling Bronco, so far I've only found a little rust in the tailgate. Pretty good shape for it sitting outside for the last 14 years. Engine has been removed so I found a new 460 heart for it. I build patina style hot rods so this will be kind of the same flavor. I'm going to replace the decals on it but I will acid wash and clean up the body and leave the patina. Once the decals are replaced I will lock it all back in with a special clear coat I use 4 bare metal. Works really well. It's soaks into the paint and the steel and gives the illusion that it is brighter and shinier without the depth of a normal Automotive clear coat. We will be doing a 4 inch lift 35 along with new interior. I ordered the stuff you reseal the transfer case and the transmission while I have them out. Today I got started with cleanup. Started removing carpet and vacuuming up I also removed the seats. While I had it out front and it was pressure washing underneath of it I acid washed the front fender from the pictures you can see the difference. Hope you guys enjoy

This one actually wasn't for sale. It was sitting in the guys driveway. He needed the space
Great save still. Must have seen one very similar. Look at them daily. If I find the right deal, in the right location I will bring it home with me. Let me know if we can help

who would have thought, rusty floors on a bronco!!!! I found 2 spits in need of cutting and patching. 1 pin hole to fill and some areas of surface rust. I washed it out, patched the holes scuffed the bed floor and por-15 the spots in patched and the bed floor. Sound mat next. Not the order insanted to do things in, but making progress while I wait for parts!! I also cleaned the hood while I had it outside. I got my decal erasers today so when the new stripes come in in in can start on that fun process!
