My job requires me to move all over the country and spend extended periods of time living in my travel trailer. Many RV campgrounds don't have phone lines to each site for dial-up.
What options do I have other than dial-up to access the 'net?
Satellite service would be great, but I can't find much info on it.
I've also heard about wireless cellular access, but again, I can't seem to find who provides this service.
Thanks for any help.
Jeff

Radio Shack has something called "StarBand" that you may look into also.

Just get a data cable for your cell phone $50-100 depending on you phone, then you just use you cell phone as the phone line. Only down side is you only get about 18k vs 33.6 to 56k on a normal phone line but much cheaper than satalite.

We have several salesman setup with both Sprint and Verizion wireless network cards. They get coverage most anywhere in the US( one or the other seems to work). Pretty slow connections as stated before. We setup everything they access via Citrix sessions to help with the bandwidth problems.

Regular cell phone to laptop connections are pretty much worthless if you need to maintain any sort of consistent connection.
