>>>>>Create a Group Policy Object for all domain users that will prohibit access to the Control Panel and name it Disable Control Panel. Do Not apply this policy to Administrators.

This is what I'm being told to do for a final project which is due at 5pm Central time. I have the GPO set to disable control panel but I can't figure out how to apply it to only users and not administrators.

This is for server 2003. Thanks for any help.

You use a domain-level group policy, but only apply it to the users group/OU. That'll do it.

Ahh.........ok. I was trying to apply it to the Users container, but I've created an OU for all my users and that fixed it right up.

Thanks sir :D

As far as I know, policy can only be applied to OUs

Yep, I didn't have a users OU (as far as I can find, just a Users container installed by default) so I just created one and voila, there's my lovely Group Policy tab.
