I have a '96 Bronco with a 351. I rebuilt the motor about a year ago. I put a little bigger cam bored it .030 over and polished the heads. These are the only things I did as far as performance mods to the engine. Ever since I have had a problem with the idle. I have looked for vacum leaks using propane, and water and could not find any leaks. I checked all the hoses with a hand held vacum pump and they all held a vacum.
I check the idle control with a snap-on scann tool and it check good. I also did a total scan and came up with no codes. Is this idle problem do to the engine mods. and will I just have to learn to deal with this? Or, is there something I have missed? :banghead

What type of idle problem is it? Low idle condition, high idle, stumble off the line?? Does your rig run well at speed?
